Good pizza and food in general. loud music and TVs but a great A/C on a hot day and not too crowded for dine in (lots of take outs for lunch.) A small pizza is pretty tiny - so be aware of that - good for 2 light eaters or one heavy eater. Chicken Parm is fine. Mid priced. Spotty service.

Awesome calzones, and they give beer samples. What more could you want? The staff is great. I always get the calzone.

Very very good service Excellent 1st class gyro 4 stars because I x gyro for $10.30 is a little steep when you can get the same standard food for $5 - $8 Very clean bathrooms Good location Good parking I would have had another one if it wasn't for the price Recommended

Great local Italian spot that dishes out great take out and even better in-house dining. I'm a regular that Grande and I have not had a bad meal yet. This place has all the charm that makes it a family run joint without being Boca snobs about it. Overall, I love their lasagna and chicken parm here. It's large, tasty and perfectly cooked. However, the garlic rolls are the best in town. They can be a meal on their own. Only thing I do not like about Grande is their pizza can be cooked longer. It's really doughy. I'm more of a well done man. Overall, I'll see these guys next week.

Always delicious, fresh and fast! Fresh dough, deep flavored tomato sauce. Get the mozzarella sticks, and the white pizza with sausage or whatever other toppings(onion, black olives). Get extra tomato sauce. Dip the pizza in it. Live your life.

Decent pizza and calzones although I've had some serious problems with this establishment. If you are going to get food here DO NOT order delivery!!! I have ordered delivery 3 times and they managed to royally mess up 2 of those orders. First one I ordered wings and they delivered them with no sauce and they were cold. The second time I ordered was near closing time and they insisted they could fulfill my order. I just wanted a cheese pie and a sprite. They delivered a mediocre room temperature pizza and sprite for $20!!!! Unreal but what's even more ridiculous is they forgot my sprite and the delivery guy ran off before I can ask about it. If you are looking for pizza delivery you can choose any of the hundred places near here and I can guarantee they won't mess up your order. Pass grande and go somewhere else

If I could give it no stars, I would. First experience was linguine w/clam sauce and they put fettuccine pasta. They didn't pinch the edges of the container, so I got home with a paper bag full of all the oil/sauce and none on the pasta. It was a good thing that they had double bagged it in plastic! When I returned a couple of weeks later for a replacement (at a discount only), I was greeted? by the most rude male employee that I have ever encountered blaming me for spilling all the oil into the bag and once food leaves the door, it is not their responsibility. He just perpetuated the stereotype of New Yorkers being EXTREMELY RUDE! Also, the garlic is a clove cut into 3 pieces and they claim it is minced. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic, but not in big chunks that are not even cooked. I WILL NEVERRRRR ORDER FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN!

I've yet to try their pizza, though I promise to return soon. The other day I was nearby and went there for a late lunch. Ordered the strombolli based off the strength of the Yelp reviews. Where I'm from, strombollis were made with sliced rib-eye and stuffed with cheese. Like a Philly cheese steak, which would make sense since I'm from Philly. Those strombollis were out of this world. I come to Florida and they get lazy and throw greasy peperoni and sliced sausage up in these and people gobble it up. Inside it was clean, spacious and the decor was up my ally with classic pop culture posters and lots of TVs. It was completely empty, then again it was about 2PM but still, not a single person was there who didn't work for Grande Pizza. The staff was friendly, service good, but when things are slow you kinda expect great service because the only weeds these people are in are the ones they're smoking out back by Michael's Body Scenes. The strombolli was perfectly cooked. The shell was something as perfect as you would get out of a Hot Pocket box. The size was decent for a lunch option, but it's was on the thin side. Think Tom Hanks in Philadelphia thin. The gravy they provide with the strombolli was real good. I asked for a 2nd helping, so I'm guessing that is the sauce they use on their pizzas as well. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and will return for their pie.

Got a groupon for here and was pleasantly surprised. I'm a picky pizza eater. We got the side salad and it was fresh and ordered the supreme pizza. All the ingredients were fresh and the cheese amazing. Close to pizza I use to get up north. Highly recommend this place. I will be coming back.

Once again a great delivery experience. Ordered from their menu wings (naked with sauce on the side), onion rings and garlic bread. When the food arrived it was hot and smelled great. The delivery person was personable and polite. He introduced himself by name and said he was from Grande Pizza. Back to the food. Here is a word that describes it ... "Orgasmic". The best chicken wings we have ever had. To top that off, the onion rings were fried to perfection, and the garlic bread ... Well I am safe from the vampires tonight. Thanks again for the great experience.

I have just been there once, for a Sicilian-style Pizza. It was very large in size but also very mediocre. I can't say anything about the rest of the menu, but on the deep dish pizza I wouldn't bother with it. Maybe try a thin crust slice of pizza if I am nearby. The place was completely empty when I was there, but I did get good table service.

I just moved to Florida a few months ago and I was wondering if I could find some decent Italian food in Boca Raton. My mother-in-law moved into an assisted living a mile or two away and I stopped here for pizza and thought it was very good and comparable to NY pizza. This week my wife and I stopped for lunch and I was extremely disappointed with a stromboli that I ordered that had a huge amount of thick, hard to eat mozzarella and a tiny amount of pepperoni and sausage. We took out food that was horrible. The chicken parm dinner I had was a metal tin filled with pasta with a horrible tomato sauce and one very thin slice of poorly cooked chicken. PIZZA YES,FOOD DO NOT GO THERE.

Ordered a slice of pizza with breaded eggplant as a topping. The eggplant was soggy and nasty. The pizza was mediocre at best. To top it off, they handed me my slice with a staple on it. When I told them about the staple and requested a new slice, they looked at me funny. I heard them laughing in the kitchen about how funny it was that a metal staple flew into my food. They never apologized and the second time the pizza came it..it was still soggy. Threw away the eggplant and wished I never ordered. Waste of money. I went across the street to the other pizza joint. Much better

Slower service but there is only one server so it's understandable. We came in and seemed like every one was trying to use their groupons before they expired. Their Stromboli is our usual go to as well as their garlic rolls.

I just read a review of another place, and the person (Alex G. of Lake Worth) summarized perfectly my experience, as well. I've added below my original posting. Sometimes, it's not about the food -- it's about the service. With a new chef, xmas, and so much going on, sometimes it's oh so wrong. But when management tries everything to make it right -- including wiping away the charge for the less-than-stellar food, and the waiters and busy boy are fun, it leaves a great taste in the mouth! So, I'll be back. I just wish they had a "happy hour" because I would make this my neighborhood hangout if I could afford the house Chianti! ""Everyone makes mistakes and you can't get it right every single time but when you have a situation go bad fix it and if you truly care about your business be sincere and don't ever let the customer leave unsatisfied. Did we have the best meal ever... No, but we were treated with kindness and fairness and the manager went above and beyond to make a bad situation better. . . . the service was impressive and that we would be back with out a doubt."" . . . per Alex G.

Ordered a calzone and mozzarella stocks for delivery via grub hub. Food was decent; sauce was ok but not my favorite. Delivery was fast and integrated updates through grub hub were great. Not sure I would try again since it's an Italian place and pretty much everything will include the sauce that I didn't care much for.

I like this Grande's and usually the service is great. However, recently I decided to order chicken wings. The wings had no seasoning, they were fried and dry with buffalo sauce. I was quiet disappointed . also ordered zeppole's. The dough of the zeppoles tasted like the pizza dough. It was hard and chewy. That was disappointing. To top it off, the delivery guy was rude and disrespectful. I suggest Grande step their game up since there are plenty of other pizza spots to enjoy.

Great news!!! Your water or soda fountain beverage will arrive in an actual and very-clean glass!! That was the high point of my meal at Grande Pizza! The lauded Crusty Cheese Detroit-style pizza was heavy and oily; lots of budget cheese-blend cheese hard-baked into a lukewarm rectangle and topped with a too-small amount of bland tomato sauce. Garlic rolls also hard-baked and arrived lukewarm (frozen and insufficiently microwaved??) Very poor high-school-kid-type table service. And Sbarro quality eggplant parm platter. So, my advice? It's hot in South Florida, so definitely go for that nice glass of water, but maybe run for the door before the food arrives.

Crusty Cheese with pepperoni and meatballs. Just OUTSTANDING! Very Detroit style and delicious. Ordered carryout so can't really speak to service and atmosphere, but I will definitely have another taste on my next trip here.

I had tried their pizza before, when delivered to our office... This time we decided to go and eat there. Very comfortable comfortable place, with big screen TVs to watch the games. We were seated immediately, everyone working there was quick and friendly. They have really good lunch hour specials: 1 Slice & a 16oz Fountain Soda 3.95 2 Slices & a 16oz Fountain Soda 5.45 1 Slice, Soup or Salad & 16oz Fountain Soda 5.45 Sub of the Day & Bag of Chips & 16oz Fountain Soda 6.95 Gyro, Bag of Chips & 16oz Fountain Soda 7.45 Stromboli or Calzone or Pepperoni Roll & 16oz Fountain Soda 7.45 Having had the 2 slices my first time, and seeing how big the slices are (what I've been told is NY Style), I went for the 1 slice and salad this time. Equally filling. They serve a full plate of salad (lettuce, cucumber, onions, black olives) with dressing on the side. Once they see you're finishing that, out comes that BIG slice of pizza. One of the best, if not the best, I've had in the area. I definitely see more pizza in our lunch future.

Delicious penna a la vodka with chicken. My mom loves the pizza. The spaghetti with olive oil and garlic, chicken and fresh tomatoes is also delicious. We always do take-out or delivery and it's ready very fast. Definitely recommend this place.

I never would have found this gem if it wasn't for the coupon I purchased through one of the large social marketing firms. They ran a special several months ago and since the location wasn't too far off my flight path I thought I'd take a chance. Since my first visit I have been back four additional times. Each time I tried something different. This is not your typical pizza joint. You walk in past a tall counter behind which sits the pizza ovens. The the place opens up into a large room with a big U shaped bar and several tables. Then I tasted the food and I KNEW it was different! Our first test for a new Italian place is the pasta fagioli. We gave Grande's seven fagioli out of a possible ten. Good but not great. The soup was accompanied with a caprese salad. Sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzerella. And we also tried the fried mozzerella. I usually don't go to a place this many times before writing about it but somehow Grande was under my blogging radar and I neglected it. The first visit was spent on tasting a couple of entrees. They were good and they were plentiful. We ended up taking more than half home to be enjoyed again the next day! The next three trips were strictly for the pizza and on the latest trip I tried the stromboli. You can read more about the pizza at on my blog. We ended the meal with an order of Zepellis, something different that is also not available at most pizza joints. Grande Pizza Company, Boca Raton, has some great food and good service. The atmosphere isn't much unless you're into watching people picking up pizza orders to go, one right after another.

The crusty pizza is fabulous. I love pizza and i know the subtle differences between ok pizza and good pizza. The thing i Iike about the pizza was as you took a bite you tasted the oven. I probably order from Grande 2-3 times per month. I have tried a lot of things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Now my neighbors are ordering from them all the time too. Here is a list of things that I have tried and are awesome: 1. Regular pizza - pepperoni or meatball or sausage or supreme are all great. 2. Gyros - was not expecting this... best I have had in Boca and not greasy. 3. Hot subs - Meatball and Chicken Parm... Chicken Parm is RIDICULOUSLY good 4. Cold Subs - Italian and turkey... both excellent, made with terrific fresh bread 5. Stromboli & Calzone - both awesome and loaded with toppings and cheese 6. Salads - they have great salads especially the Greek 7. CRUSTY CHEESE PIZZA - just do it, seriously. Now. Order one. There are probably other things that I am missing but I had to write this glowing review of Grande's. It is not my favorite restaurant per se, but it is the one I order from most often. The cheese is outstanding and really sets them apart but the overall quality of everything is very high.

As a NYer in Florida, I often find it difficult to get very good food if I'm looking for something tastier than a Big Mac. However, Grande Pizza Co does the trick! While doing a disservice to the name of the restaurant by not trying their pizza, I did try some of their dishes and came away pretty impressed. As a starter, their jalapeno poppers were quite good as they added a surprise filling: cream cheese. It offered a very good flavor along with the fried jalapeno and I would definitely recommend it to anyone ordering. Their garlic knots were very tasty and buttered to my cardiologist's delight, though they could have been cooked slightly longer to give them the perfectly browned outside. Their stuff shells lacked flavor as the cheese itself somehow managed to fall pretty flat. However, the beef lasagna was pretty good as it had the right mixture of beef, sauce, and cheeses with pasta that was cooked to perfection. As for their sausage & peppers hero, it was seasoned very well and even had a slight kick to it. All in all, this is a very strong Italian restaurant.

Finally a place that has staying potential in this shopping center. Ever since Grande Pizza opened up in Boca Raton (they have other locations in Florida) I have been eating there about two times a week. From what I have had so far at Grande Pizza, it is really good food. I highly recommend giving it a try. We originally had a NY Style pizza and it was good, but little did we know what we were missing out on at the time. You must try the Crusty Cheese pizza. It is a delicious thick crust LOADED with Grande Cheese that oozed over the side in the pan and baked onto the side of the dough. On top of that tasty cheese is an amazing, sweet sauce. The sauce makes me want to try some of their pasta dishes. I can't explain to you how good this pizza is...and I am a thin crust kind of girl. Oh, and their salads are also very good! So far, I am impressed and will continue to go back!

Great food. Good service. One of the first places I ate at when I first moved to Boca. Have gone back plenty of times. Stromboli is excellent.

No, but we were treated with kindness and fairness and the manager went above and beyond to make a bad situation better. . . . the service was impressive and that we would be back with out a doubt."" . . . per Alex G.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

(5)Mitchell S.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. I have never been disappointed. The pasta and pizza is fantastic and the service is always amazing. I have had pizza delivered by them and they are so fast to get it here. This place rocks.

(5)Laura T.
The Xl pizza I ordered was so oily and greasy. I couldn't even hold it up to eat it. I will not order from here again. Way too much cheese and not cooked all the way through. :(
(1)T V.
Service was friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. The slice plus salad and drink for lunch for $5.50 can't be beat!
(5)Mark W.
The cheese crusted pizza was excellent. It is a sicillian square pizza, with a cheese layerr covering & then with sauce on top. Suprisingly, light & so tasty. The place is large & often quiet. I hope others find it & give them business.
(4)TJ G.
My husband and I just split a medium crusty cheese pizza with veggies... It was really good, unusually good. The staff was very friendly as well.
(5)Dean M.
The crusty pizza is fabulous. I love pizza and i know the subtle differences between ok pizza and good pizza. The thing i Iike about the pizza was as you took a bite you tasted the oven. Sounds silly but unless you spent half your life eating NY pizza and the other half everything else, you won't understand. Nice clean place with great service. I have had lunch there a couple of times and they are always very nice. The eggplant parm sub was great but if you like a lot of sauce ask for extra(it's not supposed to have a lot of sauce so i am not saying anything bad). One day i had the lazagna but thought it was a little too loose(watery) for how i like it. Other than that i will be going back soon. Try this place, you'll dig it!
(4)Cat L.
The pizza is delicious, the waistaff and manager/owner are geniunely nice people who are happy to have your business, even if you don't even buy much....the restaurant is neat/organized clean, upgraded and modern...what more can you want? Im happy that they are here, local/convenient
(5)Travis E.
Great place to eat. Fairly priced and great atmosphere. Great staff. Highly recommend.

Stromboli was insanely excellent, best I've had since I moved to Florida 13 years ago. Pizza pretty good too. However it's all about that Stromboli!
(5)James M.
(5)Scott F.
(4)Craig A.
Finally a place that has staying potential in this shopping center. Ever since Grande Pizza opened up in Boca Raton (they have other locations in Florida) I have been eating there about two times a week. The Garlic Bread with cheese is among some of the best I have tried down here, and their Crusty Cheese (Detroit Style) is probably a top ten in the state.
(5)J P.

Great pizza, wings, gyro, garlic rolls, antipasto salad and gyro salad! Grande is the perfect pizza place and they always deliver on time.

Ordered a medium pie. One of the few times that I ate only half a slice then threw away the rest. Pretty hard to compete with this place!

Delicious penna a la vodka with chicken. My mom loves the pizza. The spaghetti with olive oil and garlic, chicken and fresh tomatoes is also delicious. We always do take-out or delivery and it's ready very fast. Definitely recommend this place.

The pizza is delicious, the waistaff and manager/owner are geniunely nice people who are happy to have your business, even if you don't even buy much....the restaurant is neat/organized clean, upgraded and modern...what more can you want? Im happy that they are here, local/convenient

Great place to eat. Fairly priced and great atmosphere. Great staff. Highly recommend.

Stromboli was insanely excellent, best I've had since I moved to Florida 13 years ago. Pizza pretty good too. However it's all about that Stromboli!

The Xl pizza I ordered was so oily and greasy. I couldn't even hold it up to eat it. I will not order from here again. Way too much cheese and not cooked all the way through. :(

Service was friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. The slice plus salad and drink for lunch for $5.50 can't be beat!

The cheese crusted pizza was excellent. It is a sicillian square pizza, with a cheese layerr covering & then with sauce on top. Suprisingly, light & so tasty. The place is large & often quiet. I hope others find it & give them business.

My husband and I just split a medium crusty cheese pizza with veggies... It was really good, unusually good. The staff was very friendly as well.

The Garlic Bread with cheese is among some of the best I have tried down here, and their Crusty Cheese (Detroit Style) is probably a top ten in the state.

Great food. Good service. One of the first places I ate at when I first moved to Boca. Have gone back plenty of times. Stromboli is excellent.

Good eats. Ordered after delivery cut off and they still delivered! Thanks for the great service.

No, but we were treated with kindness and fairness and the manager went above and beyond to make a bad situation better. . . . the service was impressive and that we would be back with out a doubt."" . . . per Alex G.
